Pray First

Text: 2 Chronicles 7:14

“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

What we do directly determines how we live and lead our lives.

Point 1: The Priority of Prayer

“Prayer should always be our first response and never our last resort.”

Point 2: The Power of Prayer

“Prayer changes things. It’s not just a ritual; it’s powerful.”

God isn’t fazed by your fearless faith—He’s frustrated when you fail to ask for more.

Luke 11:9, “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.”

Point 3: Boldness Precedes Breakthrough

“Bold prayers honor God, and God honors bold prayers.”

Prayer Promises

• For Peace in Times of Anxiety

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

For God’s Provision for Daily Needs

“And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”

“All your children shall be taught by the Lord, and great shall be the peace of your children.”

– Isaiah 54:13

• For Healing in Times of Illness
